Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC in Orange County, CA seeks an experienced HVAC Estimator for a permanent, full-time role. You will coordinate with senior estimators, validate HVAC numbers, and drive cost-efficient solutions on commercial projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of estimating experience, Title 24/OSHPD knowledge, and strong skills in QuickPen/Accubid, Excel, and BlueBeam. Mentoring junior estimators and vendor relations are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial HVAC estimating experience.
• Title 24 and OSHPD knowledge.
• Advanced on-screen takeoff estimating software experience (QuickPen/Accubid).
• Comfortable working with MS Excel and BlueBeam.
• Prior field experience and/or bachelor's in mechanical engineering or construction management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Chief HVAC Estimator and report to Estimating Director on current and upcoming projects.
• Review and approve final HVAC estimates for medium to large commercial projects.
• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure best pricing.
• Train and mentor HVAC estimators to grow within the company.
