As of May 8th, a prestigious law firm is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer to be based in New York City and direct firm-wide HR operations, serving as a key advisor. This position will include:

• Developing and executing HR strategy for the firm.
• Advising on succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, compensation, and benefits administration.
• Working closely with firm leadership in developing firm policies.
• Resolving employee relations issues, conducting performance evaluations, and overseeing all legal and non-legal staffing needs.
• Managing a team of professionals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience within legal or professional services settings.
• Ability to demonstrate strong HR acumen as well as substantive knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and techniques.
• This person should be able to implement procedural enhancements, hire and train a talented team of professionals, and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters.
