The National Medical Association is seeking a qualified physician to lead and manage major specialty programs. This role involves overseeing clinical and administrative functions and requires a valid medical degree, residency training, and proficiency in English. The position offers eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program, with significant financial support available based on program conditions.
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) - a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000), and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants are ineligible to apply.
To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements and any additional requirements listed in the job announcement. Applicants pending completion of training or license requirements may be tentatively referred and selected but cannot be hired until all requirements are met. Current VA-employed physicians who met the requirements at their initial appointment are deemed to have met the basic requirements.
