The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a physician to manage specialty programs at multiple divisions. This leadership role includes overseeing clinical and administrative functions with support for continuing education and robust employee benefits.
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.

General Description:
The incumbent is responsible for a major specialty program or programs at a multiple divisions facility. Incumbent may be responsible for the Service Line within one or multi divisions (Topeka/Leavenworth) and 9 CBOCS. He/she assumes professional, technical, and administrative responsibilities for programs extended to these areas as assigned The incumbent may be responsible for various fund control points assigned to the program within the
assigned areas. The incumbent manages and controls the use of data related to these programs regarding day to day functioning and program evaluation. The incumbent has the responsibility for coordinating staffing, work assignments, budget, treatment services provided and criteria for the programs.
