Job summary

Mariner Finance in Plano, TX seeks a senior marketing executive to lead the organization’s strategic direction for growth marketing, technology, data, and lifecycle engagement. You will drive acquisition, retention, and long-term value while partnering across Credit Risk, Technology, Finance, Operations, Data, Product, Legal, and Compliance.

You will build an AI-native marketing organization, advance analytics, and optimize investments across channels with a data-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Fifteen (15) or more years in marketing, including growth marketing, performance marketing, or lifecycle marketing.
• Seven (7) or more years of progressive leadership experience managing leaders and large teams.
• Experience in a highly quantitative, data-driven B2C environment; consumer lending/fintech experience preferred.
• Significant ownership of multi-channel marketing investment with accountable outcomes.
• Deep expertise in data-driven growth marketing across digital and offline channels.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Shape strategic direction and priorities for Mariner’s Marketing function.
• Own growth marketing strategy, marketing technology, and investment allocation.
• Oversee teams for growth marketing, analytics, data, and marketing capabilities.
• Optimize spend across channels based on ROI, CAC, and lifetime value.
• Identify and scale profitable customer growth through testing and analysis.
• Lead data-driven decision making and performance management across marketing.
