Job summary

Mariner Finance is seeking a senior marketing leader to shape the strategic direction of the Marketing function and own growth marketing, marketing technology, and data-driven initiatives. You will drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and long-term value while partnering with Credit Risk, Technology, Finance, Operations, Data, Product, Legal, and Compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive marketing experience including growth, performance, lifecycle, analytics.
• 7+ years of leadership experience leading leaders and large teams.
• Experience in data-driven B2C environments; consumer lending/fintech preferred.
• Proven ownership of multi-channel marketing investments with measurable outcomes.
• Expertise using data, analytics, AI, automation to improve outcomes.
• MBA or advanced degree and Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience as a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shape the strategic direction and priorities for Mariner’s Marketing function.
• Own growth marketing strategy, marTech, and investment allocation.
• Oversee teams for growth marketing, acquisition, lifecycle engagement, analytics, data.
• Optimize spend across channels based on ROI, CAC, LTV.
• Establish data-driven marketing decision-making and measurement.
• Define and execute AI-native marketing roadmap.
• Partner with Data Science, Finance, Legal, Compliance.
• Drive marketing performance across Salesforce and CRM integration.
• Lead AI-enabled transformation of marketing capabilities.
