Job summary

Salisbury University is seeking an Assistant Provost for Global Engagement/Chief International Officer to lead the university’s global engagement strategy and oversee the Janet Dudley Eshbach Center for International Education (CIE). This is a full-time exempt state role with comprehensive benefits.

You will manage study abroad, international admissions, and student exchange programs, collaborate across campus to advance internationalization, and strengthen SU’s global visibility.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in international education, higher education administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in international education.
• Strong knowledge of immigration compliance, risk management, and global higher education trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and intercultural skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with faculty and academic leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead Salisbury University’s global engagement strategy across study abroad, international admissions, and student exchange.
