Job summary

Salisbury University seeks a Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs to advise the President on policy, planning, and development. This leader will guide seven schools and colleges, oversee libraries, centers, and registrar, and shape academic budgeting and shared governance.

The role requires a Doctorate, senior higher education leadership experience, and a proven record in strategic academic planning and resource management at a public university level.

Qualifications

• Doctorate from an accredited institution.
• Experience leading academic organizations and supervising academic staff.
• Ability to manage significant budgets and allocate resources strategically.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Provost Office and align units with institutional priorities.
