Contra Costa Community College District seeks a Director of College Advancement to lead the College Foundation in partnership with the DVC President and Foundation Board. The role focuses on rebuilding fundraising capacity, stakeholder engagement, and advancing student impact across the district’s five colleges.

The position administers the Foundation 501(c)(3), develops major gifts campaigns, and collaborates with college leadership to align philanthropy with district goals.

Qualifications

• Three years management-level experience in fundraising and resource development, capital development and/or campaigns with major gifts solicitation from foundations, corporations, businesses, and individuals.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university. An advanced degree is highly desirable.
• Experience coordinating with executives, boards and external stakeholders to advance fundraising goals.

Responsabilités

• Administers the College Foundation 501(c.)(3) and oversees policies.
• Leads development, planning, and execution of fundraising activities with major donor focus.
• Cultivates relationships with alumni, foundations, corporations, and community partners.
• Develops and implements major gifts campaigns and annual giving programs.
• Provides donor reporting to the Foundation Board and coordinates board communications.
