Job summary

San José/Evergreen Community College District seeks an experienced District Executive Director of Foundation to lead institutional advancement across the district and its foundations. You will plan, organize, and oversee fundraising campaigns, donor cultivation, and stewardship activities to meet annual and strategic goals.

Under general direction, you will manage Foundation staff, budgets, and Board relations, ensure compliance with donor agreements, and report outcomes to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field as required.
• Seven years of increasing fundraising and development experience, including two years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and evaluates district-wide Foundation activities including fundraising, grants, finances, investments and public relations.
• Leads Foundation Board activities and ensures compliance with district, donor agreements and regulations.
• Develops short- and long-term fundraising strategies to meet district goals and improve visibility.
• Oversees budget administration and financial reporting for Foundation accounts and programs.
• Represents the district at conferences, meetings and workshops and manages staff and volunteers.
