Job summary

Saxbys is seeking an SVP of Finance & Accounting to serve as the financial steward of the organization. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on accounting management across cafe and HQ operations, treasury, and capital strategy.

You will build a scalable finance function aligned with Saxbys’ growth and mission. Responsibilities include leading budgeting, financial reporting, and partnerships, while partnering with the CEO/Founder and Board to drive data-driven decisions and capital

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Experience managing multi-unit accounting operations.
• CPA preferred or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations including cafe and HQ accounting and financial reporting.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for cafes and HQ departments.
• Develop financial models for partnerships, capex, and growth initiatives.
• Manage treasury, cash flow, and working capital; maintain banking relationships.
• Prepare board materials, investor updates, and assist with capital raises.
