Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Training - Southcoast Behavioral Health

Join Acadia Healthcare's CFO Training Program and start your journey to become a future leader in behavioral healthcare finance. As the largest stand-alone behavioral health company in the U.S., Acadia provides comprehensive care to approximately 75,000 patients daily across over 250 facilities in 42 states and Puerto Rico.

Located at Southcoast Behavioral Health in Dartmouth, MA, a 192-bed hospital known for excellence in psychiatric care, this program offers hands-on experience working directly with a mentor CFO. The training duration is typically 6 to 18 months, focusing on financial management, strategic planning, and operational decision-making within our facilities. Successful completion may lead to a leadership role in one of our locations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control accounts receivables.
• Oversee Business Office functions to meet cash collection goals and report net revenue accurately.
• Enhance hospital profitability by monitoring costs related to patient volume and staffing.
• Develop policies within accounting principles to ensure cash flow, reduce operating costs, and increase revenues.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis.
• Support departments with reconciliations, account analysis, and other financial information.
• Collaborate on annual budgeting and financial planning based on prior results and future needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's preferred.
• Healthcare experience is advantageous.
• Experience in healthcare finance, including AP/AR, payroll, and general accounting.
