The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a builder-operator CFO to professionalize financial operations across headquarters and a highly distributed branch network. This role partners closely with the CEO and executive team to bring structure, predictability, and financial visibility to a rapidly scaling organization.

The CFO will be responsible for establishing enterprise-wide budgeting, building true forecasting capabilities, and delivering clear property- and branch-level financial insights to drive profitability.

Core Priorities

Enterprise Budgeting (HQ + ~50 Branches)

• Design and lead the annual budgeting process across corporate and all branch locations (nationally)
• Create standardized branch-level P&Ls with clear ownership and accountability
• Partner with regional leaders to align budgets with sales, production, and growth targets
• Establish monthly budget vs. actual reviews with actionable insights

True Forecasting (Forward-Looking Finance)

• Build rolling forecasts tied to sales pipelines, seasonality, and operational capacity
• Improve real-time visibility into revenue, margin, and cash flow
• Develop predictive models to support hiring, inventory, and expansion decisions
• Move the organization from historical reporting to proactive financial planning

Property / Branch Financials
