Job summary

The Judge Group seeks a strategic Chief Financial Officer for a privately held, high-growth organization approaching $1B in revenue. Reporting to the President, the CFO will lead financial strategy, capital stewardship, risk oversight, and the design of scalable finance processes.

Ideal candidates bring deep FP&A and project-based industry experience, with a track record of improving cash flow and forecasting across complex operations such as construction or specialty contracting.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Must have Construction, specialty contracting, engineering, or other project-based industry experience.
• Experience with FP&A, project accounting, cash flow management, and risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting, finance, treasury, tax, audit, forecasting, and reporting functions.
• Drive financial planning, budgeting, KPI reporting, and executive analytics.
• Partner with leadership on growth initiatives, capital investments, and strategic planning.
• Manage banking, lending, surety, insurance, and overall capital structure.
• Improve cash flow, working capital performance, and forecasting accuracy.
• Deliver financial insight into project profitability, risk management, and operational performance.

Reporting directly to the President, this executive will lead the company's financial strategy, performance management, capital stewardship, and risk oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting, finance, treasury, tax, audit, forecasting, and reporting functions.
• Drive financial planning, budgeting, KPI reporting, and executive analytics.
• Partner with leadership on growth initiatives, capital investments, and strategic planning.
• Manage banking, lending, surety, insurance, and overall capital structure.

Qualifications
