Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for an industry-leading manufacturing company in Elkhart, IN. The CFO will partner with the President and executive team to drive financial strategy, capital decisions and strong governance.

Responsibilities include leading budgeting, forecasting, and monthly business reviews, along with ensuring US GAAP compliance and robust internal controls. A relocation package and long-term stock incentives accompany a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA/CMA or MBA.
• 12+ years of finance experience in Manufacturing, including 5+ years in senior leadership at a public company.
• Proven leadership in FP&A, controllership, cost and inventory accounting, budgeting, forecasting and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Advise leadership on strategy, plans, pricing, capacity, investments and risks.
• Own the budget, rolling forecasts, long-term plan and monthly reviews; explain variances.
• Set up scorecards for growth, margin, cash, working capital and forecast accuracy.
• Lead profitability analysis by model and product line; guide capex decisions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Ops, HR and Supply Chain on demand and costs.
• Oversee accounting, cost accounting, payroll, month-end close and reporting per US GAAP.
• Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance with auditors and finance team.
• Identify major risks and implement practical mitigation plans.

Salary: $325,000.00 USD Annually - $400,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer to serve as the company's top finance leader and work with the President & executive leaders to grow the business. The CFO will utilize market demand, dealer activity, product mix, plant performance and capital needs to make key financial decisions. This is an industry leading manufacturer & publicly traded company. The CFO will ensure the finances are managed properly and that all controls & reporting align with this need. This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities

• Advise the President and leadership team on strategy, yearly and long-term plans, pricing, capacity, investments, companywide risks and operating priorities.
• Own the budget, rolling forecasts, long-term plan and monthly business reviews. Clearly explain changes in volume, price, mix, material, labor, overhead, warranty and shipping.
• Set up scorecards for profitable growth, margin, cash, working capital, operating results and forecast accuracy, and act quickly when results fall short.
• Lead profitability analysis by model and product line, pricing and incentive decisions, and business cases for capital spending.
• Work with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Human Resources on decisions about demand, production, cost, quality, headcount, pay and benefits.
• Lead accounting, cost accounting, payroll accounting, month end close, consolidation support and reporting that follows U.S. GAAP
• Own internal controls and SOX compliance. Support the corporate controller’s team, internal audit and external auditors with complete, accurate and timely documentation.
• Spot major financial, operating, technology and compliance risks, and put practical plans and clear ownership in place to address them.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance with a CPA/ CMA or MBA required.
• 12+ years of finance experience in Manufacturing, including 5+ years in senior leadership - Public Company Highly Preferred
• Proven leadership in financial planning & analysis, controllership, cost and inventory accounting, budgeting, forecasting, month end close, internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Experience partnering with corporate finance and governance at a public company preferred.
• Strong skills with ERP & financial reporting systems required
• Track record of building teams and influencing leaders across functions
