Godshall Recruiting seeks a strategic financial leader to oversee accounting, finance, compliance, and risk management, influencing profitability and long-term planning. This executive will partner with leaders to drive data-driven decisions across the business.

The role requires a track record in shaping financial strategy, managing cash flow, and leading a finance team through investments and capital projects while ensuring robust internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
• MBA and CPA credentials preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute financial strategies that support company goals and long-term growth.
• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and treasury.
• Analyze financial results and provide leadership with insights, forecasts, and recommendations.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, audits, tax obligations, compliance requirements, and controls.
• Partner with departmental leaders to improve efficiency, control costs, and strengthen performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team for investments and capital projects.

Education

$215,000 – $230,000

Job Overview

Strategic financial leader with a proven ability to influence business growth, profitability, and long‑term planning. Experienced executive capable of overseeing all accounting, finance, compliance, and risk management functions. A collaborative business partner who can provide data‑driven recommendations to support executive decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute financial strategies that support company goals and long‑term growth initiatives.
• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and treasury functions.
• Analyze financial results and provide leadership with insights, forecasts, and recommendations.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, audits, tax obligations, compliance requirements, and financial controls.
• Partner with departmental leaders to improve efficiency, control costs, and strengthen overall business performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while supporting investments, capital projects, and other strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA and CPA credentials preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior‑level leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, GAAP, internal controls, tax regulations, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing cash flow, banking relationships, investments, debt obligations, and financial risk initiatives.
• Manufacturing finance experience, including cost accounting, inventory management, and operational finance, is preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, accounting software, advanced Excel, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
