PartnerCare is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. PartnerCare, a leading provider of interventional pain management services headquartered in Tampa, FL. PartnerCare blends rehabilitation medicine, pain specialists, and therapeutic services all under one roof to provide a fulsome suite of services to each patient. Reporting directly to CEO, the CFO will partner with the rest of the management team and Shore Capital to build upon the strong foundation and culture in place to develop a clear growth strategy and execute that strategy to enable the organization to achieve its value creation goals. The CFO will be responsible for driving financial activities, leading a high performing finance team, and directing strategic vision to support the Company’s operations and drive growth and profitability. This will include direct responsibility for financial operations, accounting, finance, M&A, business integration, FP&A, debt financing/lender relationships, and equity financing. The CFO will be a trusted resource to the executive leadership team and a critical communication link to Shore Capital, the board of directors, and external constituents. The CFO will also be involved in creating financial presentations and reporting to the Board and work directly with equity stakeholders, lenders, and other management team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic finance partner for executive, operations, and business development leadership to guide business towards transformational growth goals
• Strengthen the finance and accounting function, systems, and processes. Demonstrate a strong “roll-up your sleeves” attitude in an incredibly entrepreneurial environment
• Assist with financial due diligence and deal structuring/negotiations for add-on affiliations
• Assist in integration of acquired businesses and standardization of reporting, analytics, and practice management
• Provide complete and accurate financial information for the company to satisfy the needs of management, owners, lenders and regulatory agencies
• Lead monthly and annual forecasting and budgeting process; oversee all cash accounts and cash flow forecasting
• Oversee the gathering, reporting and accuracy of key performance indicators and business data to enable strong insight into business operations
• Manage closing process to ensure a timely and accurate close of the general ledger on a monthly basis in accordance to GAAP standards
• Maintain honest and ethical conduct at all times, serve as a positive cultural steward for the organization
• Aid in day-to-day interaction with third party lenders—own compliance reporting and covenant analysis
• Coordinate with accounting firm to complete annual audit and state/federal tax returns
• Serve as a Board Observer and present regular updates on the state of the business to the Board of Directors

Professional Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or similar relevant degree
• Business model experience in multi-site healthcare services preferred with reimbursement experience, or similarly complex accounting business model
• 7+ years relevant experience in public audit, corporate finance/accounting, or private equity
• Recent financial leadership experience as a VP, Finance in a business that has grown to scale and maturity beyond $100M in annual revenues
• Private equity experience preferred, but not required
• A data steward and analytical thinker, ideally with a depth of experience in FP&A, to collect, synthesize and interpret data to drive business decisions with the executive committee and broader leadership team. Effectively owns and leverages automation and innovation to drive best-in-class reporting and forecasting.
• Strong relationship development experience and emotional intelligence to be effective in interacting with and building authentic trust with physician partners
• High aptitude, fast learner, driven and strong entrepreneurial spirit
• Demonstrated knowledge of finance and accounting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to board or other outside partners
• Strong organizational skills; must be able to manage and prioritize multiple business objectives and projects with the proper sense of urgency
• Advanced Microsoft Office experience; strong Excel and PowerPoint expertise
