Benskin Talent Partners is conducting a confidential search for a Chief Financial Officer for our client, a growing, physician-led specialty healthcare organization in St. Louis. This is a strategic, board-facing role in a business that is growing quickly through acquisitions.

About the Role

The CFO will own financial performance for the St. Louis market and act as a key strategic partner to physician leadership and the board. The role is focused on strategy, growth and results rather than day-to-day accounting, and it is supported by a centralized accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own P&L performance and financial results across multiple specialty service lines
• Present financial results and strategic recommendations to the board on a regular basis
• Lead M&A activity, including financial modeling, pro formas, due diligence and integration of acquired practices
• Lead strategic initiatives, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
• Oversee revenue cycle performance through an experienced revenue cycle leader
• Present financial updates to physician partners and build strong relationships with them
• Partner with corporate finance and accounting to make sure reporting is accurate and timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration; MBA or CPA preferred
• 7+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
• Healthcare finance experience required; experience with physician groups, MSOs or specialty practices is a plus
• Experience with M&A, financial modeling and board-level reporting
• Working knowledge of revenue cycle management
• Strong executive presence, with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Personable, collaborative leadership style and comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
• Based in St. Louis or willing to relocate
