Job summary

Responsibilities

• Build and scale accounting/finance departments from the ground up.
• Design and implement SOPs, KPIs, controls, and scalable processes for high-volume billing.
• Directly manage and develop an AP/AR team of ~40 (in-house and contractors).
• Provide hands-on oversight, mentoring, and performance management.
• Partner with FP&A and Controller functions; drive system migrations (QB to NetSuite).

Build & Scale Finance Operations: Lead the development of accounting and finance departments from the ground up. Design and implement standardized SOPs, KPIs, controls, and scalable processes to support high-volume billing operations.

Team Leadership: Directly manage and develop an AP/AR team of approximately 40 (mix of in-house and contractors). Provide hands-on oversight, mentoring, performance management, and capacity planning to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

• Direct experience working in or overseeing AP/AR departments in high-volume environments.
• Hands-on experience with Controller and FP&A functions; comfortable being tactical while also contributing strategically.
• Experience with system migrations, preferably QuickBooks to NetSuite (or similar ERP implementations).
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams (including contractors).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred.
