Responsibilities include leading agency budget planning, managing the operating budget, overseeing vendor payments, and guiding fiscal decisions. The CFO will also supervise the Agency Chief Contracting Office (ACCO), oversee procurement for capital projects, and lead a staff of over 100.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and four years of relevant experience, with at least 18 months in a managerial or supervisory role. Preferred skills involve expertise in procurement and construction law, project delivery methods, and certification by relevant organizations.
Additional requirements include authorization to work in the U.S., with no sponsorship provided by NYC for visas. Residency within NYC or nearby counties may be required within 90 days of appointment.
