CO_01 Benefis Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Chief Financial Officer responsible for overseeing all financial functions and supporting long-term organizational growth. This executive leadership role includes strategic financial planning, compliance management, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and at least ten years of experience in health system finance. Working with state-of-the-art technologies, you will lead a dynamic healthcare team in a facility with over 500 beds.

Chief Financial Officer

Responsible for all aspects of employee management, departmental management, and the creation of a professional practice environment that focuses on patient safety, customer service, and the organizational mission, vision, and values.

This position will serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and a trusted advisor on all financial matters.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial functions across the system, including financial reporting and analysis, accounting, revenue cycle (managed through a third‑party vendor), budgeting and forecasting, capital planning, financial systems, internal controls, and operational improvement.
• Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop financial strategies that support the organization’s long‑term growth, stability, and mission.
• Plan, coordinate, organize, monitor, and implement all activities within the area of responsibility, including employee performance management.
• Maintain efficient and effective department operations, ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards, protocols, and licensing or certification standards.
• Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and adapt to constantly changing situations.
• Engage with a variety of people, manage stressful situations, and resolve conflicts.
• Perform all job duties or tasks as assigned, adhering to all licensing board or agency requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
