We are an emerging Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) focused on acquiring, developing, and managing high-quality senior living communities in the Columbus, Ohio region. With a mission to deliver strong returns to our investors while enhancing the quality of life for aging adults, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team during this exciting growth phase.

Position Summary:

The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the REIT’s operations, including capital raising, fund management, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, accounting, compliance, and reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires deep expertise in real estate finance and a successful track record in capital raise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all financial strategy, planning, and analysis efforts in alignment with the REIT’s investment goals.
• Manage capital raise initiatives, including structuring and securing equity and debt financing to support acquisitions and development.
• Develop and oversee financial models for property acquisitions, development projects, and ongoing asset performance.
• Lead and manage fund operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and investor reporting.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, and financial partners.
• Oversee accounting, audit, tax, and regulatory compliance processes specific to REIT structure.
• Support deal structuring, due diligence, and transaction execution for new senior living community investments.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on overall strategic planning and business development.
• Provide financial insight and leadership to support the growth and scalability of the REIT.
• Manage finance and accounting teams and external advisors as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably with a REIT, real estate private equity firm, or institutional investor.
• Demonstrated experience with capital raising and investor relations in a real estate environment.
• Strong understanding of fund management, real estate finance, and asset valuation.
• Knowledge of REIT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to build and manage financial operations from the ground up.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with investors, visit properties, or attend industry events.
