Job summary

Roundglass is seeking a seasoned CFO to lead its global finance organization. You will work closely with the Founder, CEO, and executive team to shape financial strategy, ensure disciplined capital allocation, and manage risk across geographies.

You’ll oversee FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, reporting, and internal controls, while partnering with business leaders to grow sustainable value for the organization and its diverse initiatives.

About the Role:
  • The Leader (CFO) will lead the global finance organization at Roundglass and serve as a key strategic partner to the Founder, CEO, and executive leadership team.
  • The CFO will be responsible for the overall financial health and strategy of the organization, providing the financial insight, discipline, and leadership needed to support sustainable growth across Roundglass’s businesses and global operations. This role will oversee financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, treasury, tax, financial controls, compliance, and financial risk management across geographies.
  • Beyond leading the finance function, the CFO will bring a strong commercial and global perspective to business decisions. This leader will help evaluate investments and growth opportunities, guide resource and capital allocation, strengthen financial accountability, manage financial and enterprise risk, and build the systems, processes, and capabilities needed to support an evolving global organization.
What You’ll Do:
  • Financial Strategy & Business Partnership
  • Partner with the Founder, CEO, and executive leadership team to shape Roundglass’s global financial strategy, long-range plans, and key business decisions.
  • Provide financial and commercial insights to support decisions related to growth, investments, new markets and initiatives, resource allocation, and cost management.
  • Evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities, strategic investments, partnerships, and potential acquisitions, leading financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and integration planning as appropriate.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders across geographies to strengthen financial accountability, optimize spending, and improve business performance.
  • Financial Planning, Performance & Business Economics
  • Lead global financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning, ensuring resources and investments are aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Establish and monitor financial and operational KPIs, providing leadership with clear visibility into business performance, risks, trends, and opportunities.
  • Develop clear visibility into the financial performance and economics of Roundglass businesses, products, and strategic initiatives, including revenue, cost structure, margins, investment returns, and pathways to sustainable growth.
  • Develop a consistent approach to financial performance management across businesses and geographies, using data and insights to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
  • Oversee global accounting and consolidated financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting across entities.
  • Oversee tax, audit, statutory compliance, and other financial reporting requirements across the markets where Roundglass operates.
  • Maintain strong financial governance, internal controls, policies, and risk management practices to safeguard the organization’s assets and support effective decision making.
  • Provide clear financial reporting, analysis, and strategic insights to the Founder, CEO, executive leadership, and other key stakeholders on financial performance, outlook, risks, opportunities, and strategic trade-offs.
  • Oversee relationships with external auditors, tax and legal advisors, and other financial and professional advisors.
  • Treasury, Capital & Enterprise Risk
  • Lead global cash flow, liquidity, treasury, and working capital management to maintain financial flexibility and effectively manage capital across entities and geographies.
  • Develop and oversee the organization’s capital strategy, evaluating funding requirements, capital structure, and the deployment of capital across businesses and strategic priorities.
  • Establish a disciplined approach to capital allocation, balancing strategic investments, growth opportunities, operating requirements, financial returns, and long-term organizational priorities.
  • Identify and manage material financial and enterprise risks associated with global operations, including liquidity, currency, tax, regulatory, insurance, and other cross-border considerations.
  • Manage key relationships with banking partners and financial institutions across relevant markets.
  • Finance Operations, Systems & Transformation
  • Define and build scalable global finance systems, processes, data and reporting capabilities, and automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, controls, and visibility across the organization.
  • Establish consistent financial processes and standards across businesses, entities, and geographies while accounting for local requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the finance organization, identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, improve data quality, and increase the speed and quality of financial information.
  • Global Finance Leadership
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing global finance organization with clear accountability and strong partnership with the business.
  • Establish clear roles, operating rhythms, and consistent financial practices across geographically distributed finance teams.
  • Develop finance talent and capabilities to ensure the function can support the organization as Roundglass continues to evolve.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, collaboration, and financial discipline across the finance organization.
Skills / Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant leadership responsibility across finance, accounting, FP&A, or strategic finance in a global or multi-entity organization.
  • Prior experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, Head of Finance, or senior finance leader with broad responsibility for both strategic and operational finance.
  • Strong foundation in accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management, including experience with consolidated reporting and international operations.
  • Strong understanding of cash flow, liquidity, treasury, working capital, tax, audit, financial controls, compliance, and risk management within a global organization.
  • Proven ability to partner with founders, CEOs, and executive leadership teams on business strategy, financial planning, investment decisions, capital and resource allocation, and business performance.
  • Strong commercial and analytical judgment, with experience developing financial models, scenario analyses, valuations, and business cases to evaluate growth opportunities and support complex business and investment decisions.
  • Experience building and improving finance systems, processes, controls, reporting, data capabilities, and automation to support a growing and geographically distributed organization.
  • Demonstrated experience building, leading, and developing high-performing global finance and accounting teams, with the ability to establish clear accountability and consistent practices across functions and locations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and operational information into clear insights, recommendations, and actions for financial and non-financial audiences across markets and cultures.
  • High standards of integrity, sound judgment, accountability, and discretion, with the ability to balance strategic leadership with a hands-on approach in an evolving, entrepreneurial environment.
  • CPA, MBA, or other relevant advanced qualification is preferred; experience in a technology-enabled, consumer, healthcare, wellbeing, or other growth-oriented global organization is also preferred.

Anticipated salary / compensation: $195,000-$280,000 yearly. Experience: 12+ years.
