Job summary

Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg, IL seeks a seasoned Vice President of Administrative Services to lead fiscal affairs, facilities, and risk management as part of the President’s Administrative Cabinet.

The role provides strategic financial leadership, oversees annual and long-term budget planning, and ensures compliance with applicable requirements while supporting emergency preparedness and campus safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance from an accredited university.
• CPA certification.
• At least five years of full-time experience in a major administrative position.
• Public higher education administrative experience preferred.
• Experience in a unionized or collective bargaining environment preferred.
• Strong financial and analytical skills; excellent written and verbal communication; sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fiscal affairs, budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
• Manage purchasing, investments, and tax levy preparation.
• Oversee facilities, grounds, and campus security.
• Lead risk management and emergency preparedness.
• Act as Treasurer for the Board of Trustees.
• Provide timely financial analysis and strategic guidance to the President and Board.
