Job summary

Northeastern Technical College requests an Assistant Vice President of Finance to act as the institution’s Chief Financial Officer, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash management, procurement, student financial awards, and audit compliance.

This executive will ensure financial integrity, sustainability, and compliance while advising the President and Area Commissioners on strategic initiatives that support the college’s mission and long-term success across reporting divisions and contracts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 5 years progressively responsible related work experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of higher education finance and grant funding.
• Ability to plan, organize and direct administrative activities and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the college.
• Direct procurement, accounting, AP/AR, student accounts, grants, and financial aid.
• Advise the President and leadership on strategic financial initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
• Manage cash flow, risk, and audit processes.
