Job summary

Wispr Flow is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to shape the company’s financial future in San Francisco. You will own forecasting, budgeting, fundraising strategy, and the board-level narrative as we scale from Series B+ towards an IPO.

You’ll partner with the CEO and the executive team to allocate capital, optimize unit economics, and build scalable finance systems and controls for rapid growth. This is a high-impact, ACV-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Built the finance function at a growth-stage company through Series A/B to scale.
• Can build a board-ready model quickly and test pricing changes.
• Strategic partner to founders and exec team on growth strategy.
• Experience scaling finance teams and systems for rapid growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic financial planning, forecasting and budgeting.
• Build and own the financial model for revenue, hiring, runway and unit economics.
• Establish operating discipline to scale through funding rounds.
• Partner with executives on budget allocation and growth investments.
• Oversee cash, investments, tax strategy and financial controls.
• Lead audits, accounting, close processes and tax filings.
