The client is seeking an accomplished, visionary chief executive officer to lead the organization through its next phase of growth and innovation. This role will build on a positive, patient-centered culture while advancing strategic initiatives that enhance healthcare services for the communities served. The organization is planning construction of a new outpatient clinic while continuing to expand services and strengthen financial and operational performance.

the chief executive officer is responsible for overall day-to-day hospital operations and for strategic leadership, planning, development, direction, coordination, and control across patient care and clinical support service areas. The CEO works collaboratively with leaders and staff to deliver high-quality patient care in a cost-effective manner, sets short- and long-range objectives to meet financial and non-financial goals, and ensures alignment between people, processes, and strategy. The role also focuses on revenue growth through new business strategies, communicating key information to stakeholders, building and retaining talent, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

the ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in healthcare administration, an MBA, or a related field, along with significant hospital managerial experience. Hospital CEO experience is preferred, particularly in a critical access environment. The candidate should demonstrate success in quality outcomes, physician relations, finance, planning, and the marketing of hospital programs and services, with strong operational excellence and interpersonal skills supported by integrity and a high work ethic.
