Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public/Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree in a related field preferred.
• Senior-level leadership experience is required.
• Experience in an Indian Health Service or tribal clinic setting strongly preferred.
• Native American heritage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations including responsibility for a School Based Health Center and a Community Health Clinic.
• Provide financial management oversight and coordinate programming and community engagement.
• Lead expansion plans to add a dental clinic and additional specialty services such as Obstetrics/Gynecology, Maternal Health, Audiology, Podiatry, Nephrology, and Pediatrics.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Public/Business Administration or Healthcare Administration

Master's degree in a related field (preferred)

The client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization through its next phase of growth and help shape long-term strategic direction. The CEO will partner closely with the Board of Directors to deliver quality healthcare services while executing the organization’s strategic plan, including guidance on the future path of the organization.

The CEO will oversee day-to-day operations, including responsibility for a School Based Health Center and a Community Health Clinic, financial management, and programming and community engagement. The role also includes expanding services to add a dental clinic and additional specialty services such as Obstetrics/Gynecology, Maternal Health, Audiology, Podiatry, Nephrology, and Pediatrics.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Public/Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, with a master’s degree in a related field preferred. Senior-level leadership experience is required, with experience in an Indian Health Service or tribal clinic healthcare setting strongly preferred. The role calls for strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with Native American heritage preferred, and will support the organization’s mission-focused approach to improving population health, patient experience, and system sustainability.
