Job summary

Nexia is exclusively partnering with one of Europe's leading biotech investors to appoint the CEO of a newly formed biotech focused on neuroinflammation and neuroimmune biology. The CEO will join at company formation and work closely with the investor, scientific founder and leadership team to shape the strategy, financing, team and future direction of the business.

Nexia is exclusively partnering with one of Europe's leading biotech investors to appoint the CEO of a newly formed biotech focused on neuroinflammation and neuroimmune biology.

The company is being built around the work of a leading physician scientist, with an initial first in class antibody programme in migraine and ambitions to build a broader therapeutics company around the underlying biology.

The investor behind the company is one of the most successful NewCo builders in biotech, with a proven track record of turning early science into companies and significant new capital recently raised for its next wave of company creation.

The CEO will join at company formation and work closely with the investor, scientific founder and leadership team to shape the strategy, financing, team and future direction of the business.

We are interested in experienced biotech CEOs and senior executives ready to take their first CEO position, particularly those with experience across:

• Building and financing early stage therapeutics companies
• Fundraising and investor relations
• Business development, licensing and strategic partnerships
• Working alongside scientific founders and R&D leadership
• Creating value around differentiated science and early stage assets

Experience within neuroscience, neuroinflammation, migraine, pain or biologics would be advantageous but is not essential.
