Position Overview

CHD is seeking an experienced, visionary, and mission-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic leadership and oversee the organization's continued growth and operations.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will be responsible for organizational performance, financial sustainability, program excellence, staff leadership, and community engagement.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and forward-thinking leader with a passion for behavioral healthcare, nonprofit leadership, and creating meaningful community impact.

• Oversee daily operations, program delivery, financial performance, and organizational administration.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, resource allocation, fundraising, and revenue development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of senior management or executive leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial management, business planning, operations management, and strategic planning.
• Experience with fundraising, revenue development, partnership building, and organizational sustainability.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit management, or a related sector.
• Knowledge of behavioral healthcare, mental health, addiction services, and applicable regulatory requirements strongly preferred.
• Advanced degree in business, public administration, healthcare administration, social work, psychology, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
