Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. (USPI) operates ambulatory surgery centers and surgical hospitals nationwide. Saint Thomas Hospital for Specialty Surgery seeks a Chief Executive Officer to direct operations, strategy, and staff across the facility.

You will liaise with the Governing Board, Medical Staff, and all departments; develop budgets, staffing plans, and capital plans; ensure regulatory compliance and a focus on patient care excellence in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• 10–15 years of progressive healthcare management experience.
• Experience leading complex ambulatory surgery facilities or hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the surgical facility and align with strategic goals.
• Serve as liaison between Governing Board, Medical Staff, and all departments.
• Develop and monitor budgets, staffing plans, and capital budgets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and accreditation standards.
• Lead quality improvement, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
