Job summary

Leidos in San Diego, CA, seeks an EW Chief Engineer to lead research, design and development of signal collection, processing and dissemination systems for national security. You will guide technical teams, oversee programs, and contribute to new business opportunities with government customers.

The ideal candidate has a Master's with 15+ years' experience, strong leadership, and proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and Simulink, with active clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance; ability to obtain TS/SCI
Master's degree with 15+ years relevant experience (BS considered with equivalent experience)
Fluent with MATLAB, Linux, Mathematica, Python, Simulink; languages include C/C++, Java
Knowledge in digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection/estimation theory, linear algebra
Demonstrated leadership of small multi-disciplinary technical teams
Strong oral and written communication; EW/SIGINT/radar domain experience

Responsibilities

Develop novel algorithms, perform performance analysis using real/simulated data
Serve as Technical Team Lead
Lead marketing and business development initiatives for proposals and capture efforts
Participate in lab-based and field testing
Lead multiple projects and communicate results to team and customer
