Job summary

Leidos is seeking an EW Chief Engineer in Arlington, VA to lead research, design, and development of signal collection and processing systems for advanced EW solutions. You will direct technical teams, oversee program objectives, and engage in business development with government customers.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of spectral analysis, and proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience; BS with equivalent experience accepted.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams and projects.
• Active or ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop novel algorithms, performance simulation, and analysis using time series and spectral data.
• Serve as Technical Team Lead for EW signal processing projects.
• Lead or support marketing and business development efforts including capture activities.
• Participate in lab-based and field testing of systems.
• Lead multiple projects and communicate results to team and customers.
• Collaborate with government customers and program management.
