Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to design, implement, and lead the enterprise-wide risk management program across EPC projects and business units. The role partners with operations, project delivery, finance, legal, supply chain, HSE, and executive leadership to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risks across the company’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, construction management, risk management, business, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise risk management or related fields.
• Experience leading enterprise risk programs for complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel (periodic travel) as required by projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the company’s enterprise risk management framework, governance model, policies, and reporting structure.
• Identify, assess, prioritize, mitigate, and monitor risks across all business units and projects.
• Present enterprise risk profiles to executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and Audit/Risk Committees.
• Develop risk governance standards and escalation protocols for high-risk projects.
• Partner with finance, operations, and project leadership to evaluate risk exposure on major EPC pursuits and active projects.
