Job summary

Air Force Test Center is seeking a Full-Time Supervisory General Engineer (NH-0801-04) to lead the 782d Test Squadron at Eglin AFB. The role serves as Chief Engineer with final authority on T&E programs, overseeing diverse testing activities including climatic, installed systems, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, a bachelor’s in engineering from ABET-accredited program (advanced degree preferred), and DAWIA certification.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• ABET-accredited bachelor’s engineering degree preferred; MS/PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time.
• Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust priorities, and prepare schedules.
• Plan, organize, and oversee engineering activities for major ground test facilities (MCL, GWEF, J-PRIMES, etc.).
• Serve as Chief Engineer, providing engineering leadership and technical direction for all T&E programs.
• Represent the 782d Test Squadron with installation and functional area organizations.
