Job summary

Solutions Through Innovative Technologies, Inc. (STI-TEC) seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of complex space systems for SSC. You will shape end-to-end architecture, manage risk, and align design with mission needs in contested space environments.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience across space control domains, enterprise architecture, and mission engineering, with TS SCI eligibility and a strong track record in technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in space control space, ground, and C2 systems.
• Expert in maturing technologies through TRL levels.
• Expert in architecture and requirements development.
• Strong knowledge of space situational awareness architecture and capabilities.
• Experience with design reviews, audits, and program documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical authority and oversee end-to-end system architecture.
• Lead integration across space, ground, cyber, and communications.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks across the lifecycle.
• Ensure designs support mission threads, CONOPS, and requirements.
• Coordinate with government, industry and partners providing technical leadership.
