Job summary

Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI in Seattle. This role owns the production system behind generation, from module fabrication through field energization, and sets takt time and line balance for manufacturing.

You will drive field install rates, Kaizen events, and supplier improvements while teaching A3 problem solving across teams. The ideal candidate has TPS/Lean experience, a track record of reducing cycle time or defects, and the ability to halt lines when

Qualifications

• Experience running a production system built on the Toyota Production System or a direct derivative.
• Ability to set takt time on a real line, balance it against actual cycle times, and hold it through a demand ramp.
• Proven ability to reduce cycle time or defect rate and quantify before/after results.
• Ability to stop a line when the standard is not met and enforce it across teams.
• Developing suppliers on their own floor to improve incoming quality.
• Teaching the method across the organization using A3 problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Own production system behind Fluidstack's generation builds, from module fabrication to field energization.
• Set takt time and line balance for module manufacturing and hold the line with standard work and first-pass yield targets.
• Drive install rate and reduce rework in the field through kaizen events with on-site crews.
• Audit suppliers and fold fixes into standard design via change control for repeatable deployment.
• Teach A3 problem solving across engineers, site leads, and contractors to sustain system performance.
