Northrop Grumman is seeking a Consulting Chief Engineer for the Expendables (Advanced Weapons) OU in Redondo Beach or El Segundo, CA. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, define technical requirements, and coordinate across programs to deliver advanced weapon systems.

The role emphasizes engineering leadership, risk management, and collaboration with customers and USG stakeholders, with opportunities to influence next-gen capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in STEM with extensive related experience.
• Experience across multiple engineering specialties and BUs.
• Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilités

• Serve as technical authority for the Expendables OU.
• Define and control technical requirements and coordinate across projects.
• Act as the principal technical interface with customer and senior leadership.
• Represent NGAS for cross‑company weapon activities.
• Collaborate with USG technology stakeholders.
• Ensure programs meet engineering principles and company standards.
• Oversee and ensure technical performance within cost/schedule.
