Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Manager Advanced Technology 3 in Plymouth, MN to lead a chief engineers team in the Design Engineering department. You will drive technical execution from concept to production and ensure clear communication with engineering functions, PM and customers.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain) and demonstrates strong leadership across a broad range of engineering disciplines, with a focus on risk management and budget control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• 11 years of engineering experience or more.
• DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Team management and leadership experience of a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of chief engineers within the Design Engineering department.
• Provide direction and oversight across multi-disciplinary engineering functions and customers.
• Manage budget and staffing to meet current and future program needs.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers into future leaders and maintain strong stakeholder communication.
