Job summary

EOS in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Engineering Manager to oversee resort facilities and lead a skilled team in daily operations.

You will ensure maintenance of interiors and exteriors, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and equipment, while meeting safety codes and performance standards.

The role emphasizes identifying talent, recruiting engineers, and coaching leaders to build a capable, accountable engineering department.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading teams of 6+
• Excellent knowledge of high transaction environments, distributed workflows, and web platform architectures
• Driven, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
• Creative and efficient in solving complex, time-critical problems

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the physical operations of the resorts, including maintenance and repair of buildings, rooms, and equipment
• Lead, manage, and empower a team of maintenance workers
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of at least one application discipline and learn new technologies as needed
• Apply sound analytical skills to define and solve issues, even when loosely defined
• Set hiring standards and recruit engineers to build out the team
• Train and develop management and technical leaders within your groups

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities for this position include:

• Oversee the physical operations of the resorts, including maintenance and repair of interior and exterior of buildings, hotel rooms and contents, laundry and kitchen/refrigeration equipment, lighting, heating, air conditioning (HVAC), ventilation, and water treatment systems, and swimming pool
• Lead, manage, and empower a team of maintenance workers
• Expert knowledge of at least one application discipline, along with the ability to learn new technologies based on business needs
• Sound analytical skills to deal with requirements and/or issues that may be loosely defined and the ability to further manipulate and expand on them
• Ability to set the right hiring standards within the company and successfully recruit new engineers to build out the team
• Train and develop management and technical leaders within your groups
