Job summary

Hyatt Centric Park City is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee the hotel’s interior, exterior and building systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical. You will lead the Engineering team and direct daily operations to keep our luxury property running smoothly.

You’ll manage preventive maintenance, support OSHA and safety compliance, assist with capital projects, and respond to emergencies as needed, while mentoring staff and coordinating with other departments.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of engineering management experience, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Experience with hotel building systems, soldering, and brazing preferred.
• Universal Refrigeration Certification and CPO certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and mentor team members.
• Proficiency with maintenance tools and work-order systems.
• Fluent English communication; bilingual abilities are a plus.
