Job summary
The R&D Clinical Creation Center at Pfizer seeks a senior leader to own digital, data and AI enablers across the clinical trial lifecycle. You will manage the budget and drive delivery against prioritized R&D impact, defining a strategy for embedding AI into trial planning, optimization, and delivery.
Lead a cross-functional team via Agile, shifting to product-based operating models where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 15+ years in digital product delivery.
- 5+ years in the clinical domain (clinical ops, development, or science).
- Proven Agile WoW at scale, shifting from project to product models.
- Direct AI/ML experience in study planning or delivery.
- Strong ability to partner with senior stakeholders to deliver capability.
- Experience leading through organizational change and ambiguity.
- Experience owning a large technology budget with delivery accountability.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end digital, data, and AI enablers for the clinical trial lifecycle.
- Budget management and delivery against prioritized R&D impact.
- Define and execute a technology strategy incorporating AI and analytics.
- Lead a cross-functional team using product-oriented Agile delivery models.
- Partner with CD&O and R&D leadership to ground tech investments in needs.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging platforms to modernize trial tech.
- Establish governance and prioritization balancing innovation with compliance.
- Serve as a thought partner on the future of AI-enabled clinical development.
