Job summary

Catawba Medical Foundation seeks an accomplished fundraising leader to steer strategy, governance, and operations across annual, major, and planned giving, grants, and campaigns. This role engages boards, medical staff, and community partners to grow philanthropy and strengthen the health system’s brand.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree with five+ years in healthcare philanthropy, preferably with a CFRE/FAHP certification and demonstrated success in major gifts and donor cultivation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred; CFRE or FAHP certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership and strategic oversight across all areas of philanthropy including annual, major, and planned giving; grants; comprehensive campaigns; and donor engagement.
• Build and drive strategy to strengthen and grow the donor base and philanthropic support.
• Elevate the health system’s brand and reputation through strategic engagement and collaboration with board members, medical staff, and community leaders.
