Amigos de Guadalupe Center for Justice & Empowerment in San Jose, CA seeks a Chief Development Officer to lead all fundraising and external relations.

This hands-on, senior role builds a high-performing development team, partners with the CEO and Board, and drives strategy, grant writing, donor relations, and reporting to sustain programs in housing, education, immigration services, mental health, and community organizing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive fundraising experience.
• Proven track record closing major gifts.
• Proficiency with donor CRM systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; storyteller.

Responsibilities

• Lead organizational strategy for revenue development.
• Oversee grant writing, donor outreach, and reporting.
• Manage CRM and donor analytics.
• Supervise Communications Specialist.
• Cultivate relationships with Board and funders.
• Develop multi-year fundraising plan and portfolio.
