Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford seeks an accomplished, strategic SVP & Chief Development Officer to lead its philanthropic enterprise and grow revenue through major donors, endowments, and a strong CRM-driven program. West Hartford-based, this role partners with CEO, volunteers, and partners to advance federation priorities and donor engagement.

Qualifications

Progressively responsible fundraising experience and leadership of a development function.
Proven track record of securing six-figure major gifts and long-term donor relationships.
Experience leading, coaching, and developing fundraising teams.
Familiarity with annual giving, endowment, planned and legacy giving, and volunteer philanthropy.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the Development team with clear roles and accountability.
Drive growth in Annual Campaign and major gifts, cultivating significant donors.
Build a pipeline of new major donors and next-generation philanthropists.
Collaborate with CEO, Board, and volunteers to advance priorities and campaigns.
