Job summary

J&T Business Consulting is seeking a Senior Vice President of Development to lead and grow fundraising initiatives for a Christian nonprofit. The role reports to executive leadership and oversees donor engagement strategy, including major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, and partnerships.

The ideal candidate will manage a development team, set revenue targets, guide budgeting, and track fundraising performance to sustain and expand gospel impact across global ministries.

Qualifications

• Donor development expertise in planned giving and major gifts.
• Annual giving strategy development and execution.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial alignment.
• Proven cross-functional project and team leadership.
• Senior nonprofit fundraising leadership experience.
• Faith-based mission alignment with biblical values.
• Excellent communications, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or Communications; CFRE a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and lead major gifts, annual giving, and donor partnerships.
• Cultivate and steward high-value donors and kingdom partners.
• Lead the development team with a Christ-centered culture.
• Set revenue targets and manage budgets for ministry growth.
• Collaborate with program and communications teams to tell compelling ministry stories.
• Oversee donor database operations and fundraising analytics.
• Represent the ministry at Christian events and donor gatherings.
