Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Head of Data Management & Engineering in Plano, TX to lead data management, data product ownership, and engineering capabilities for CIB Marketing.

You will define and execute data strategy enabling scalable analytics and AI adoption, collaborating with Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, Product, Technology, Operations, and Risk leadership. You will oversee data pipelines, architecture, curated datasets, and reusable data products for marketing measurement,

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership of technical teams and complex delivery portfolios.
• Experience with modern data architecture, data integration, ETL/ELT, data modeling, APIs, orchestration, cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable data products and roadmaps.
• Experience leading data engineers, architects, or multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality, lineage, privacy, security, and auditability.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate tech concepts to nontechnical audiences.
• Practical understanding of AI-assisted engineering and responsible use of AI outputs.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equal professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute data management and engineering strategy for CIB Marketing.
• Lead and develop data engineering/architecture teams and data products.
• Own data and controls for global email audience targeting and list management.
• Establish multi-year roadmap for data capabilities in marketing analytics and AI use cases.
• Translate business needs into scalable data solutions and data models.
• Build governed data products usable across lines of business and analytics teams.
• Establish data product portfolio-management disciplines and adoption metrics.
• Ensure governance across data lifecycle including quality, metadata, privacy, and compliance.
• Communicate trade-offs, risks, and investment needs to leadership.
• Recruit and retain high-performing technical talent and foster accountability.
