Job summary

Texas Capital is seeking a Senior Executive to lead the enterprise data and AI strategy, governance, and platform delivery. You will oversee data governance, AI security, and a broad team of data professionals, working with business leaders and the Board to turn data into trusted, value-driven outcomes.

The role requires deep technical fluency across Kafka, SQL Server, Postgres, Snowflake, and Calibra, plus strong executive presence to guide cross-functional partners and align with the CTO and

Qualifications

• 15+ years in data/analytics/AI leadership roles
• 8+ years managing large multi-disciplinary teams
• Hands-on fluency with modern data platforms & cloud data warehouses
• Experience governing AI/LLM technologies and AI security governance
• Executive-level communication and reporting to boards

Responsibilities

• Refine and own enterprise data and AI strategy, roadmap, and investment case
• Lead data & AI governance across the firm
• Run executive data & AI council and resolve prioritization disputes
• Define operating model with business lines including data products
• Oversee data quality, AI risk posture, and realized value to leadership
