Baker Tilly, a leading advisory firm, seeks a Head of Data & AI Platform to own the data architecture and the Compass AI stack. You will lead data, knowledge-graph, and ML efforts across the U.S. and India, shaping scalable intelligence foundations for AI products.

You will mentor senior engineers, define roadmaps, and partner with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality AI capabilities at scale.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 15 years of experience across data architecture, data engineering, and data platforms.
• Experience designing knowledge systems with ontologies and knowledge graphs.
• Expertise in knowledge representation and semantic layers.
• Strong data modeling, identity resolution, and data contracts.
• Lakehouse experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and medallion architecture.
• Proficient in streaming and batch data pipelines and unstructured processing.
• Understanding of retrieval architectures and vector search.
• Experience with production learning loops in data science.
• Corpus engineering including document extraction and synthetic data generation.
• Leadership of distributed teams across US and India.
• Ability to translate product needs into scalable technical solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Own the Baker Tilly Intelligence Layer, ontology, knowledge graph, and judgment graph strategy.
• Design knowledge-graph capabilities with U.S. and India engineering teams.
• Capture and transform practitioner decisions and outcomes into reusable intelligence.
• Establish retrieval semantics and evaluate grounding quality.
• Own the data layer end to end: architecture, modeling, pipelines, quality.
• Maintain medallion architecture standards and data contracts.
• Build scalable pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Consume enterprise data via contracts, identity standards, and systems-of-record.
• Lead data science capabilities and learning loops for model improvement.
• Lead corpus engineering, document extraction, ground-truth, and synthetic data efforts.
• Measure and improve retrieval quality, model performance, and drift.
• Build and lead data, knowledge-graph, ML, and data science teams across regions.
• Mentor senior engineers and promote a high technical bar.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, engineering, and subject-matter experts.
