Job summary

Wounded Warrior Project seeks a visionary VP of Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure & Enterprise Architecture to lead the technology organization in Washington, D.C. You will align security, operations, and architecture with the nonprofit’s mission, driving scalable, cost-effective solutions.

You will mentor senior technology leaders, shape multi-year roadmaps, and partner with governance, risk, and executive teams to advance strategic priorities and investments.

Qualifications

• Twelve years of progressively responsible experience in information technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise architecture, or related technology disciplines.
• Eight years of IT management experience, including responsibility for multiple technology functions.
• Experience leading cloud modernization, infrastructure transformation, and enterprise architecture initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership across Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Enterprise Architecture functions, ensuring alignment and coordination across teams.
• Lead through directors and senior directors to set priorities, expectations, and long-term objectives; develop leaders and foster accountability.
• Serve as executive escalation point for strategic decisions and cross-functional technology challenges.
• Establish a unified vision and roadmap balancing security, infrastructure and architectural objectives.
• Develop and execute cybersecurity, infrastructure, and architectural strategies, capabilities, and investments.
